November 5-10, the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai. As the world's first national-level expo with import as its theme, this year's CIIE continued to gather a wide range of top-notch global products and technologies.

ALVA Systems, in collaboration with Microsoft, made a debut in the specially curated Artificial Intelligence Experience Zone created by the organizers. The assembly guidance scenario, supporting multi-user collaborative operations, exuded a strong sense of "metaverse" and garnered widespread attention from various sectors.

ALVA Systems just concluded its presence at the Import Expo. Let's take a closer look from various perspectives.

The debut of Multi-user Collaboration Application was a highlight, offering a new and exciting experience.

Upon entering the Artificial Intelligence Experience Zone, familiar engine models came into view, accompanied by Hololens devices. It seemed no different from previous exhibition events, and many partners strolling through the exhibition couldn't help but exclaim, "It seems familiar."

Contrary to appearances, this time, in collaboration with Microsoft, we integrated the AR multi-user collaborative innovation application onto Hololens 2. This marks the first public appearance of this application, constructing a complete equipment operation and maintenance management scenario.

On-site personnel can easily handle basic operations such as disassembly, diagnosis, assembly, and trial operation based on virtual assembly content by scanning the engine, leveraging ALVA's AR model recognition and tracking technology.

When facing challenging issues, on-site personnel can collaborate with partners, share the same real-time view for joint operations, analyze faults together, quickly generate solutions, and also have the capability to call remote experts for guidance and review.

Not only in equipment maintenance and management scenarios, but AR multi-person collaborative applications have also been widely empowering integrated training, operation, and process training, design research and review, project acceptance and delivery, and many other application scenarios. AR applications have evolved from being seen by an individual to enabling collaboration among multiple individuals.

During the Import Expo, our booth and exhibits received coverage from media outlets including CCTV News, CGTV, Dragon TV, People's Daily, China News, Jiemian, China Business Network, Shanghai People's Broadcasting Station, Legal Daily, and Wenhui Daily, and were featured in various live broadcasts.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and four other departments jointly issued the "Action Plan for the Integration and Development of Virtual Reality and Industry Applications (2022-2026)." The Action Plan clearly states in its three major development goals that the effectiveness of integrated applications is highlighted, with industrial production taking the lead.

Looking towards future development, as the industrial ecosystem matures, efforts will be made to achieve the ambitious goal of the overall scale of the virtual reality industry (including related hardware, software, applications, etc.) exceeding 350 billion yuan. ALVA Systems, as an industrial AR application enterprise with independent intellectual property rights, will continue to work tirelessly towards this goal.
