From August 14th to 18th, 2023, the Advanced Training Workshop on Virtual Reality Technology and Application in Virtual Teaching Research Center, as well as the Symposium on Demonstrative Teaching of Virtual Reality in Higher Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Symposium"), was held at Xinjiang Vocational College of Applied Technology.

As a member of the expert team at the Symposium, Li Jie, the Education Sales Director of ALVA Systems, focused on the application of AR technology in the education industry and discussed the establishment of virtual teaching research centers in the digital age with the attendees. The aim was to promote demonstrative teaching of virtual reality courses in higher education.

Last year, the Ministry of Education, along with five other departments, jointly issued the "Action Plan for the Integration and Development of Virtual Reality and Industrial Applications (2022-2026)". The plan proposed the construction of virtual reality classrooms, teaching and research centers, laboratories, and virtual simulation training bases in higher education institutions and vocational schools. It also emphasized the development of virtual reality digital courses based on the teaching syllabus. This was also one of the main purposes of the symposium.
