ALVA Rainbow
Next-generation enterprise real-time remote guidance platform based on AR technology
The Chinese-style modernization emphasizes a harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. It sets new requirements for the construction of a beautiful China, as outlined in the 20th National Congress of the Party. Simultaneously, it provides direction for the ongoing implementation and upgrade of smart cities.
This case takes us to the first large-scale fully underground domestic waste compression and transfer station in the country—the Wuhou District Urban and Rural Environmental Comprehensive Management Center. Let's explore the exciting collision between ALVA AR technology and the construction of smart cities.
Project Background
Focusing on addressing the increasing problem of domestic waste in the high-speed urbanization process, the Wuhou District Committee and District Government have planned and constructed the country's first 2,000-ton fully underground domestic waste compression and transfer station—the Wuhou District Urban and Rural Environmental Comprehensive Management Center.
The fully underground design, along with the open park design above ground, not only effectively enhances the waste transfer and disposal capacity in Chengdu but also minimizes the impact of garbage compression operations on the surrounding environment.
Solution
Leveraging the digital transfer station mapped one-to-one with the real environment, maintenance and management personnel can clearly and intuitively view the internal structure and site layout of the transfer station. This enhances the efficient conduct of maintenance work and makes decision-making more targeted.
Utilizing ALVA's innovative AR technology to build a visual and collaborative digital twin sandbox for transfer stations. It can be deployed anytime, anywhere on any surface. With real-time dynamic data overlaid on the sandbox, managers can efficiently operate and supervise the transfer station.
With ALVA's innovative AR technology, digitize the daily inspection workflow, creating a virtual work card based on real operational scenes. Inspection personnel can minimize risks associated with personnel uncertainty by following clear location markings and inspection indicators.
Leveraging ALVA's innovative AR applications to digitize and upgrade pre-processing center data, inspection and maintenance processes, process optimization paths, etc. This enables the construction of a sustainable knowledge repository for the enterprise, providing practical references for future operations, training, and upgrades.
Project Results
As the nation's first 2,000-ton fully-buried life waste compression and transfer station, the Wuhou District Urban and Rural Environmental Comprehensive Management Center ingeniously utilizes underground space. The upper part forms a sloping urban park, organically combining the park's form with the city space, changing people's perception of traditional waste stations.
This time, with the help of ALVA Systems' advanced mixed reality technology, the Wuhou District Urban and Rural Environmental Comprehensive Management Center has innovatively upgraded, achieving a comprehensive layout and insight into the information of the transfer station. Moreover, it has transformed important daily tasks such as operation, inspection, and training from intelligence to digitization.
Most importantly, this project once again makes the Wuhou District Urban and Rural Environmental Comprehensive Management Center a new benchmark for promoting green reduction, supporting the construction of a beautiful and livable park city.
